Do I need a valid prescription to order glasses online?

Yes, you need a valid prescription from an optometrist. The prescription must be less than 1 year.

Do you offer courier?

We courier all throughout South Africa and also offer collection from our physical store. 

Is courier free for all orders?

No, courier is only free on orders over R1500. On orders below R1500, a standard flat rate of R100 apply.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept secure payments via Visa, Mastercard, EFT and more. 

Do you accept medical aid?

Yes, we do accept medical aid that is processed through Specs & Co. Please note that medical aid rates do apply.

Where is The Lens Vault based?

We operate from Specs & Co, based in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. All orders are processed at our registered practice and lenses are ordered and fitted from our partner labs.
